Enchanting, the view from your window---the whole thing takes on the look of peeking into the intricate web of a filigree lavaliere. And whatever you're cooking---yes. I see cookie cutters, but is that a lovely hunk of cheese, perhaps to make some savory nibbles for drinks-before-dinner?Or is that rich, golden butter? The yolk is just so memory-evoking, as those were the orange eggs which gave my Mammaw's Pineapple Cake its characteristic golden yellow. We have a nice source for those here, as well.
These details put me in the Christmas mood like none other that I have seen this year. You have a way of capturing the light as it lightly touches - no caresses or even teases - the subject.
Great photos, makes you want to get in the kitchen and make some cookies.
Thank you Rachel, Mimi, and Michel. I hope that the photos have helped you get into the Christmas spirit!
Always love your postcards.Have a lovely Christmas and stay warm.CheersDillon
