Welsh Cheese for Sale in London
I cannot get enough of Gorwydd Caerphilly. This is what I will ask them to bring me next time.
It is aged 60 days, and has a soft inner core, reminding me of an enormous firm young Camembert in texture. The flowering of flavors took me on quite a ride. This is an excellent cheese worth trying.

I think I need to head over to Whole Foods. It might not be on sale, but I know they have Welsh Cheese, and probably Gorwydd Caerphilly.
I'm always just a wee bit jealous of anyone traveling...and then I see the markets...sigh!
Have a lovely trip!
Wow, I know I keep drooling over the cheese photos but they're soooo gorgeous. I know I can get cheese here but to see a simple stall set up with big wheels of cheese and paper to wrap them in....they just look so much better than the plastic wrapped what ever we get at the local store. And I've had some pretty dang tasty plastic wrapped what ever but......it looks like a whole other cheese world when I see your photos like this. Thank you so very much for sharing!!!
I'm soooo happy you got to go to Borough Market! Isn't it fab?!
Love Borough market, visited with three fellow foodie bloggers...can you imagine the fun we had?
In fact this market is just around the corner from my niece's flat. I got to explore it at several different times an on different days. It is a very picturesque market, full of atmosphere when it is not too crowded. Best enjoyed before lunch time. I made an effort to seek out English things there. It was a very international market, with stands from France, Italy, Mexico, imported vegetables from Israel, Spain, Africa, etc. You can find just about anything there!
I love those British cheeses (and how they're not so stingy with the samples...)
The sample was what made me really notice this cheese. The flavor was wonderful and I regret not having bought more.
Thank you for the suggestion..I have a passion for cheeses.
As a Welsh gal living on he other side of the world, you've just made me really homesick. This is my favourite Welsh cheese, and maybe my favourite cheese full stop. Very nice with Welsh fruitcake (Bara Brith) too. Will have to visit home soon to top up on these things...
i adore your photographs and your blog. that cheese is stunning.
